The Old Capitol Museum invites 3rd-6th graders to join museum staffers in learning about voting, elections, and the Iowa caucus process with a twist...It’s a special superhero-themed caucus!

Kiddos will experience Iowa's unique caucus system and the important role that it plays in picking our next President at this Friday evening drop-off program. Attendees will take part in a caucus of their own to get their favorite superhero the coveted Iowa "Hawkus" nomination.

Now in its 13th year, the Piano Sundays concert series at the Old Capitol Museum has showcased the most talented University of Iowa faculty and students in the UI School of Music. Each concert is supported by West Music of Coralville and presents a unique set of musical selections ranging from Back to Bartok, Jenni to Ginastera, Mozart to Mussorgsky, and more!
