Piano Sundays: American Liszt Society with Special Guests

Sunday, February 4, 2018 - 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Join us for a special Piano Sundays concert featuring the Iowa chapter of the American Liszt Society and guest musicians.

Each Piano Sundays concert features the University of Iowa's amazing talent in a unique and inspiring setting. Piano Sundays present the finest of students in addition to the noted School of Music Piano Area faculty. Supported by West Music and the University of Iowa School of Music.

Rose, an 1878 Steinway and Sons Centennial Style 3 Concert Grand in Rosewood, was acquired in the fall of 2006 with the help of West Music of Coralville. Since that time, the concert grand piano has been featured in over 100 performances in the historic Senate Chamber.

Each concert is free to attend and open to the public. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Old Capitol Museum in advance at (319) 335-0546.
