Old Capitol Museum Presents: "Now Let Me Fly"

Saturday, April 23, 2016 -
6:30pm to 7:30pm

Now Let Me Fly, written by Marcia Cebulska, is a play commemorating the landmark Supreme Court decision Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka. A historical drama based on oral histories and personal accounts, Now Let Me Fly paints a picture of the grassroots struggles against legalized segregation and the battle for civil rights. Now Let Me Fly will be directed by University of Iowa graduate student Marina Bergenstock and performed by University of Iowa students.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Old Capitol Museum in advance at old-capitol-museum@uiowa.edu or 319-335-1508.
