Just Living at the University of Iowa

Monday, May 2, 2016 -
4:30pm to 5:30pm

Join the Just Living Theme Semester Planning Committee in a discussion on social justice with President Harreld. Just Living, the University of Iowa’s spring 2016 Theme Semester, explores values, beliefs, and positioning by examining the past and looking to the future. Throughout the semester, in classrooms, during events, and through activities, we discussed how understanding ourselves, our relationship to others, and the natural world led to making intentional choices. The work and conversations of Just Living will continue beyond the end of the spring semester, connecting individuals and the larger community. During this event there will be the opportunity to share experiences, provide recommendations, and ask questions. A reception will follow the discussion starting at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to view THEM: Images of Separation. Let us know you're attending by clicking "I'm Going" on the event page.

If you can’t make the event, you are encouraged to provide feedback via the online survey at http://bit.ly/JustLivingSurvey. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Office of Outreach & Engagement at 319-335-0684.
