Explorers Seminar Series—Juno's Exploration of Jupiter

Thursday, May 4, 2017 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Juno arrived at Jupiter on July 4th as the first spacecraft to orbit over the poles of the giant planet. Join Dr. William Kurth as he discusses how Juno will help us understand the origin and evolution of Earth and the other planets, peer deep inside Jupiter, & study Jupiter’s brightest-in-the-solar system auroras and associated phenomena. Learn how those will be accomplished & the UI’s role at this lecture.

Reception to follow.
