Follow the Water: The Scientific Exploration of Mars

From the earliest days of astronomy we have gazed upon Mars, one of our nearest neighbors in a vast cosmos, and wondered whether it could harbor life. Liquid water is a crucial ingredient for life, and therefore we naturally wonder if Mars currently has or has ever had enough water to support life. Join Professor Jasper Halekas as he describes the history of the search for water on Mars, highlighting our best modern scientific observations and what they tell us about ancient and present-day Mars.

Reception to follow.
