Located on the second floor, the historic Senate Chamber is a venue space for many public events, lectures, classes, performances and more.
This room was once the meeting place for the Iowa Senate, and is where Iowa's First General Assembly founded the University of Iowa. Today, the space holds a wide variety of campus and private events with historical elegance and updated AV.
The Senate Chamber is equipped with a hearing loop. Switch hearing aids to "T" or "T-coil" to connect to the system. Assistive listening devices are also available.
